We'll provide you with an unforgettable 2 day adventure which includes an Iceberg boat tour and a wildlife trip. We're located adjacent to "Iceberg Alley", the path of Arctic Icebergs on their way south in the cold Labrador Current. Hundreds of these glistening giants are released from Greenland's glaciers each year and move south to Newfoundland on a 2 year journey. These goliaths of ice are one of natures wonders, mountains of 10,000 year old ice, absolutely pure and spectacular.
Your boat tour will originate from Twillingate, one of Newfoundland's oldest seaports. This old fishing community is famous for its scenery, history, culture and Old World charm. Twillingate, an island jutting out into the North Atlantic ocean, is connected to the rest of Newfoundland by a series of causeways island to island on "The Road To The Isles", Route 340. This picturesque drive is one of the most scenic in Atlantic Canada as it takes you around Notre Dame Bay through small fishing villages.
